Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame honors Clarke’s Haase
Clarke University’s Makenna Haase has been honored for her efforts on the hardwood this past season by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame. The association has recognized the two-time NAIA All-American by displaying her No. 14 jersey in the Hall’s Ring of Honor at the Women’s Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Over 100 jerseys currently hang in the Ring of Honor, including high school and college All-Americans. Haase’s jersey is displayed next to the No. 10 jersey of former Iowa standout and Wisconsin native Megan Gustafson.
Haase garnered second-team NAIA Division I All-American honors this past winter and helped lead the Pride to the quarterfinals of the NAIA Division I National Championship in Billings, Montana. Haase recorded 22 double-doubles this season, the final three coming on the national stage. She led Clarke in scoring (16.9 ppg), rebounding (11.5 rpg), blocked shots (49) and field goal percentage (.556).
