MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Green Bay Packers can clinch the NFC North by beating the Vikings in Minnesota this week. They’ve already won 11 games in Matt LaFleur’s first year. One more victory would make him just the 10th coach in NFL history with a dozen or more in his debut season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers credits the simplicity of LaFleur’s approach for the success of the team, after missing the playoffs in each of the past two years. The Vikings need help to win the division even if they defeat the Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium, where Green Bay has never won.

As well as a strong respect for each other’s abilities. Zimmer’s defense, as usual, will present a big challenge for Rodgers and Co. Minnesota enters this week’s games ranked sixth with 18.5 points allowed per game. At home, where the Vikings are 6-0 this season and 3-0 against Green Bay since U.S. Bank Stadium opened in 2016, they’re allowing just 14.2 points per game.
