UW-P Students being Monitored For China Virus

At least six UW-Platteville students who just returned from a trip to China are being monitored for the deadly coronavirus. According to a release from the college the students showed no symptoms of the Wuhan coronavirus after they were screened at  Chicago O’Hare International Airport as they were returning on Tuesday. The virus has spread throughout China and has so far infected over 600 people. 17 have died. Two of the UW-P students who made the trip are from Wuhan, China. The school says the students live together on campus but are not under any form of quarantine, but they will be monitored on a regular basis as a precautionary measure. The Centers for Disease Control says symptoms of the disease include trouble breathing, coughing and fever.
