Town Clock Center Renovations

Some much needed renovations are underway at the Northeast Iowa Community College Town Clock Business Center in downtown Dubuque. The project was approved by the NICC board of Directors after it awarded the bid to Sheets Design Build in Maquoketa. Rhonda Siebert, vice-president of operations at NICC, says the project is part of their master facility plan. She says the goal is to make the restrooms ADA compliant and update the building in general. The project will be done in three phases, beginning with the restrooms. The final phase includes improvements to the front entrance of the building. Siebert says the renovations should have very little impact on the day-to-day activities of students, faculty and staff. The 1.3 million dollar project is expected to be completed by mid-August.
