Three Face Drug Charges After Bust at Mobile Home Near Platteville

Three Platteville residents are facing drug charges after a drug bust at a mobile home park just outside that community’s city limits. At about 6:30 yesterday morning, deputies from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s office, along with officers from the local narcotics task force, executed a warrant at one of the homes in the Evergreen Village Mobile Home Park. As a result of their search, 39-year-old James Cubit, 31-year-old Christopher Vinson, and 38-year-old Nicole Ruch were all arrested. Each of the three have been charged multiple counts of with Delivery of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place. Cubit is facing four additional charges, including Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic. Vinson and Ruch have both been charged with Child Neglect. Two children were removed from the home and have been placed with family members.
