Teen Charged With Attempted Murder

A Dubuque teenager who was involved in a shooting incident with his brother last summer has been charged with attempted murder. 17 year old Emmanuel Fountain Jr. was arrested Friday. His brother Jamar Little, who was also charged with attempted murder, pled guilty last year to going armed with intent and intimidation with a dangerous weapon. In exchange the attempted murder charge was dropped. Little was sentenced to probation and given a deferred judgement. He is currently residing at a residential correctional facility in Dubuque. The incident happened on May 13th in the alley between the 18-hundred blocks of White and Jackson Streets. Just prior to the incident a car driven by 33 year old Sheonta Fountain of Dubuque drove through the area and parked. Little and Fountain Jr. got out of the car and began walking through the alley. The pair approached another juvenile and charged the 15 year old. Several shots were fired, but the juvenile was able to flee inside the home at 1815 Jackson. Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle in the 2-thousand block of University Avenue. Little and Fountain Jr. eventually came out and were detained. A search was conducted and police found a .22 LR pistol. Shell casings found at the scene were also .22 caliber. Sheonta Fountain is charged with being an accessory after the fact. She has a court hearing on February 13th.
