Tax Credits Approved For Several Preservation Projects In Dubuque 

Several historic preservation projects in Dubuque are benefiting from State Historic Tax Credits. Tax credits totaling over 1.2 million dollars have been approved by the Iowa Economic Development Authority for Marquette Hall, a residential facility, while 2.1 million in tax credits was approved for St. Mary’s Church and rectory. It will help establish an education center, childcare center and offices. Metz Manufacturing Company, a proposed healthcare complex received a little over 1.5 million in tax credits from the IEDA. In all, the IEDA approved 19.1 million in historic tax credits for 11 projects in seven communities.
