Snow Totals Fall Within Predicted Range

Snowfall around the Tri-State area largely fell within the forecast range, with totals between four and six inches widespread across the area. The latest report from the Dubuque Regional Airport came in a few minutes after 6:00 this morning. At that point, the airport had received 3.7 inches of snow. Other spots around the city of Dubuque have registered higher totals, including Lock and Dam 11, which reported 6 inches of accumulation. Elsewhere in Dubuque County, Rickardsville also checked in with a half-foot of new snow, while a weather spotter in Asbury received 5.5 inches. The highest snowfall from around the area appears to have been in Monticello, where 6.5 inches were reported. Any additional accumulations today will be minor. Our next legitimate chance for snow comes Sunday night through the day on Monday.
