Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs
8-10 lbs. pork ribs
3 cups BBQ Sauce (your choice)
3 tablespoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons minced garlic
3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ tablespoons red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper, to taste
Spray large slow cooker with cooking spray. You may have to cut your ribs into smaller sections to fit into slow cooker. Season ribs with salt and pepper. Add them to slow cooker, standing them up on rib end (lean them against the slow cooker insert).
Combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Mix well to combine and pour over the ribs, reserving about 1 cup of the sauce. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours. (Refrigerate remaining sauce to use later).
After 6-7 hours on low, or 3-4 hours on high, or when ribs are tender, the meat about to fall off but bone, but not quite, carefully remove from slow cooker, to a cooling tray. Baste the ribs with the remaining sauce.
