Sheriff: Semi Driver Flipped Off School Bus During Illegal Pass
Authorities in southwestern Wisconsin say a semi driver from Pennsylvania made an obscene gesture as he drove past a stopped school bus. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, a Fennimore school bus was dropping children off at their home along US Highway 61 at about 3:15 Wednesday afternoon. The bus was stopped in the southbound lane of the highway with its stop arm extended and red lights flashing, when a northbound semi drove by without stopping. According to the sheriff’s report, the semi driver held up his middle finger as he went by. The semi is owned by the Kingdom Livestock Transport company of Mohnton, Pennsylvania. Grant County officials worked with police there to issue a citation to the driver, who is not identified in the sheriff’s report.
