Salvation Army Summer Activities

Things are busy at the Salvation Army of Dubuque right now. Captain Matt Phelps says the need for their food pantry has grown with the coronavirus pandemic. There are new safety precautions in place for people using the service and there will soon be fresh garden food. They are currently giving out free box fans for elderly and low-income residents of the community. Captain Emily Phelps says their Sunday church services are now open for people to attend but they are still streaming online on Facebook as well.  If you would like to donate a new fan for giveaway, call ahead and you can drop it off at the Salvation Army office at 1099 Iowa Street.
