Salvation Army-Human Trafficking Prayer Service

The Dubuque Salvation Army will be holding a special prayer service this Sunday for victims of human trafficking. Captain Emily Phelps says the annual event is open to the public. There are many different organizations and people who can use the prayer support. Captain Phelps says the short service will include a prayer walk through their facility at 1099 Iowa Street. Every year between 14,500 to 17,500 people are trafficked into the United States. Phelps notes that it’s not just happening in the big cities, it can happen literally anywhere.
