A member of the Dubuque School Board has been named to a state board that will look into increased science and math education programs. Governor Kim Reynolds recently appointed Anderson Sainci to the Northeast Regional STEM Advisory Board. STEM is an acronym standing for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Sainci will be on the board through the end of June 2021. He’s currently serving his first term on the school board, after being elected in September of 2017. Away from the board, Sainci works as the city of Dubuque’s Resource Management Coordinator.
