“Re-imagine Comiskey”

The city of Dubuque is seeking public input to improve a large north end park that’s expanding. The City of Dubuque Leisure Services Department has launched a campaign called “Re-imagine Comiskey” to get input on how to improve Comiskey Park. The city has $1.2 million budgeted to improve the park and its amenities, which could include things like adding more basketball courts or grills. This Saturday’s free event, Hip Hop PARKitecture, is a music-infused event designed for youth ages 10-17. The kids will participate in hands-on activities and group discussions, create vision boards, and work in small groups to create a design concept for Comiskey Park. That event will be at Fulton Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. lunch will be served and registration is required. Visit cityofdubuque.org/comiskey to learn more about the events and take the online survey.
