More Winter Weather Expected in Tri-States

On the heels of this weekend’s winter weather, another system appears poised to bring more snow and cold to the Tri-States. According to our weather coverage partners at KCRG-TV, a mixture of snow and freezing rain could move into the area during the day tomorrow. That precipitation would then stick around through tomorrow night. It’s not exactly clear how much snow can be expected here in Dubuque. The city appears to be right on the line between where meteorologists are predicting 1-3 inches of accumulation, and 3-6 inches. Extremely cold conditions are then expected by the end of the week, with Friday’s high temperature not predicted to get above zero. Friday’s overnight low will be -20, with the possibility for wild chills as cold as -40.
