One of the top area high school basketball players for the Class of 2020 has made his college plans known. Yesterday, Mineral Point guard Isaac Lindsey announced via Twitter he plans to accept a scholarship to play hoops at UNLV. The 6-foot-4 Lindsey, who averaged 20.5 points per game, was a first-team selection in the SWAL. He was named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 4 all-state team. He also had offers from South Dakota State, Green Bay, Milwaukee and De Paul with Iowa, Wisconsin and Purdue all showing interest.
Lindsey and his Mineral Point teammates will be one of the teams playing in the Wendy’s American Trust Classic in January.
