Mike’s Green Bean Tater Tot Casserole 

2 lbs. Cremer’s lean Ground Beef

1 onion, chopped

1 teaspoon Kosher salt

½ teaspoon pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup milk

2 cans green beans drained, or 1 16oz. pkg. frozen green beans, thawed

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 bag frozen tater tots 

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.  Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.  In a large skillet, brown ground beef, onions, salt, pepper and garlic powder.  Drain.  Pour meat mixture into baking dish.  

In a medium bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk.  Pour over meat mixture in baking dish.  Scatter green beans over the top of the mixture and top with 1 ½ cups shredded cheese.  Top with tater tots.  Place in oven and bake 40-45 minutes, remove from oven and top with remaining ½ cup cheese.  Return to oven and bake an additional 5 minutes.  Remove from oven, let cool a few minutes and serve.
