Masks To Be Required At Carnegie-Stout

Patrons of the Carnegie-Stout public library in Dubuque will now be required to wear a mask. The requirement goes into effect on Monday. The mandate includes all visitors and children older than 2 to wear a mask or a cloth face covering that goes over the mouth and nose. Library administrators say the decision to require masks and coverings was made with the safety of both visitors and staff in mind. The masks requirement is in addition other measures the library has taken to ensure the safety of its’ guest, such as library staff wearing masks, quarantining returned materials for 72 hours before re-circulation and limiting public seating areas.
