Man Arrested For Swinging Knife At Vehicle

A Dubuque man will be back in court next week after he was arrested following an incident in the parking lot of a laundromat Wednesday night. Officers arrested 41 year old Paul Brandenburg and charged him with disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say a teenager told them he pulled into a laundromat on Elm Street at around 10 pm. The teen says a woman there raised her middle finger at him and he did the same. The woman was with Brandenburg, who apparently became upset and walked towards the teen’s car. He then tried to get into the car, but could not. As the 18 year old drove off Brandenburg chase his vehicle swinging at it with a knife. He will next appear in court on the 28th.
