Kettle Campaign Behind Goal

As the annual Kettle Campaign for the Salvation Army of Dubuque is less than a week from completion – the combined total for the kettle and mail appeal are currently $25,000 behind this time last year. The 2019 overall goal for the Kettle Campaign is $225,000, with a goal of $118,000 coming directly from the kettles.  The kettle campaign runs through December 24th, while the mail appeal continues until mid-January. Proceeds from the Kettle Campaign goes to their Christmas Toy give-away, the food pantry, the new fine arts programming for children, the Senior Center Activities, nutrition classes, community garden, and the Pathway of Hope program, among other programs.
