Kennedy Mall To Reopen

After weeks of being shuttered because of the coronavirus outbreak, Kennedy Mall in Dubuque will reopen its’ doors tomorrow. Dubuque County was among 22 counties included in Governor Kim Reynolds’ latest proclamation that allows malls and a number of other non-essential businesses to reopen by taking measures to ensure social distancing. Kennedy Mall will reopen but must limit the number of people allowed inside to 50 percent of its’ maximum capacity.  Joe Bell is with the Cafaro Company which owns the mall. He says they have been anticipating the OK from the Governor to reopen and they are dedicated to making their environment safe for their patrons. Bell says they’ll be implementing what they call “Mall To Go”. Although the mall will be open for normal hours, Bell suggest that patrons call or check online for hours of operations of individual stores.
