NEW ORLEANS (Duhawks.com) – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has selected Loras Head Coach Matt Jones as the Division III Women’s Track & Field Coach of the Year, as announced on Wednesday. Jones led the Duhawks to the school’s first-ever NCAA Division III National Title at the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
It was also announced this week Duhawk sprinter Gabrielle Noland was named the Outstanding Performer of the NCAA D-3 Meet last week. Noland scored 20 of the team’s 53 points individually from her titles in the 100m and 200m. Additionally, Noland ran the anchor leg in Loras’ national champion 4×100 Relay team and the 4×400 Relay squad that finished seventh.
