Inmate Throws Urine At Deputy

An inmate at the Dubuque County jail faces a felony charge after authorities say he threw a cup of urine at a deputy over the weekend hitting the deputy in the face. 24 year old Dorien Lemon is charged with one felony count of assault by an inmate with bodily fluids or secretions. The incident happened at around 8:30 Saturday night when Lemon threatened to throw urine at the next staff member who came into his cell block. When a deputy came into his cell to talk with Lemon, documents say he threw a cup of fluid at the deputy which he claimed was urine, striking the deputy in the face. Lemon was already being held on several domestic violence charges when the incident occurred.
