The inaugural class for the Cascade High School Athletic Hall of Fame will be made up of three Iowa Hall of Fame coaches. Robert Davidshofer, Al Marshall, and Jerry Roling will become the very first members of the Hall of Fame.
- Davidshofer coached cross country in Cascade for 56 seasons and led his teams to a total of fifteen State Championships.
- Marshall in 47 seasons of coaching boys basketball retired in 2016 with 738 career victories, 13 conference championships, and 8 state tournament appearances.
- Roling led Cascade baseball to 750 of his 1,022 career coaching wins and three state tournament trips. He was also named National High School Athletic Coaches Association’s Baseball Coach of the Year in 2012.
The trio of inductees will be honored during ceremonies on October 2nd and 3rd in conjunction with homecoming activities.
