Imagine Dubuque Action Toolkits

More than 6-thousand people have provided input to develop “Imagine Dubuque 2037: A Call to Action.” The plan, adopted by the city council nearly two years ago, calls for establishing partnerships with community members who have aspirations of developing projects and ideas that reflect the city. Some of the recommendations in the plan are already being implemented by a number of groups, organizations and individuals. An “Action Toolkit” with starter resources has been created to assist in the process. People interested in learning more about opportunities to get involved can stop by one of the “Imagine Dubuque” booths this week. One will be set up tomorrow from 5 to 9 pm at the Millwork Night Market. Others will be available at various locations Friday, including the Carnegie-Stout Public Library, the Multicultural Family Center and the Intermodal Transportation Center. On Saturday a booth will be set up at Farmer’s Market from 7 till noon and the Juneteenth Celebration at Comiskey Park.
