Illegal Drugs Lead To Dubuque Man’s Arrest

A Dubuque man was arrested after police say they found nearly 3 pounds of marijuana, cocaine and drug edibles inside his home this week. Members of the Dubuque Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the home of 26 year old Jordan Hefel in the 2700 block of University Avenue. Police also found more than $5,000 in cash. Just before the bust police stopped a car that was seen leaving Hefel’s residence. The driver 31 year old Tau Campbell of Galena was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Campbell told police he had just used drugs with Hefel in the presence of Hefel’s 5 month old daughter. Hefel faces an additional charge of child endangerment. He has since been released on bond.
