Firefighters from Three States Battle House Fire in East Dubuque

Fire crews from all three of the Tri-States were called on when a fire began in a home on East Dubuque’s main drag last night.  The fire was reported at about 6:15 PM in the 300 block of Sinsinawa Avenue. That’s the same block that houses the East Dubuque Public Library. As firefighters arrived, flames were seen coming from the upper levels of the building. No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is not yet known. In addition to East Dubuque’s fire department, fire crews from Dubuque, Key West, Jamestown, and Menominee-Dunleith helped to battle the fire.
