Family STEM Festival

A family STEM festival is coming to Clayton County this week. The Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at Keystone AEA in Elkader. Jason Martin-Hiner, a school facilitator for science at Keystone says the festival is designed to engage young people in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Feedback from previous festivals has been very positive. The festivals are held at various locations throughout northeast Iowa every year. All ages are welcome to attend the free festival, but the target group is upper elementary to middle school students. The exhibits will feature interactive STEM activities for students and their families.
