Face Covering Required For Jule Passengers

Beginning next Monday, passengers who ride a Jule bus or paratransit vehicle will be required to wear a face covering. Officials say they are mandating the face covering to limit the spread of COVID-19 and increase passenger safety. For this policy, face covering is defined as a uniform piece of material that snugly and securely covers a person’s nose and mouth. Officials say they recognize that some people may not be able to wear a face covering because it may exacerbate a physical or mental condition, lead to a medical emergency or introduce significant safety concerns. In those instances, adaptations and alternatives should be considered to increase the feasibility of wearing a face covering or another accommodation to reduce the risk of COVID. The Jule will have masks available for passengers who do not have one. The policy will remain in effect until further notice.
