Dubuque Now Offers Twelve Weeks of Paternal Leave
The city of Dubuque is extending the amount of time employees can spend with new children. The now offers twelve weeks of fully paid paternal leave. The city has adopted a new policy and now offers eligible full-time employees the paid time away from work for the birth or adoption of a child. The policy applies to both mothers and fathers. Eligible city employees will receive their regular base pay and benefits following the date of birth, adoption, or foster-to-adopt placement.
