Dubuque Farmers Market To Open This Weekend

The long anticipated opening of the Dubuque Farmers Market is just around the corner, and because of the COVID-19 pandemic things will be a bit different. Manager Jo Lynn Pike says the market will be held in the downtown area on Iowa Street. Pike says initially they’ll have a limited number of vendors and those vendors are only allowed to sell certain products. Vendors will be set-up six-feet apart from each other. Pike says they are also requiring people who come to the market wear a mask and to not bring their pets. She says there should be a limit of one or two people per household that come to the market. There will be no self-service. No entertainment or special events will be allowed at the market. The Dubuque Farmers’ Market will be held every Saturday from 7 am to noon through September, and 8 to noon in October.
