Crockpot Pepper Steak

Crockpot Pepper Steak 

3 lbs. Top Sirloin steak, sliced thinly into strips

2 green bell peppers, sliced thick

2 red bell peppers, sliced thick

1 large onion, sliced thick

3 cups beef broth or stock

6 tablespoons soy sauce

½ teaspoon ground ginger

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon pepper

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon corn starch

¼ cup cold water

Cooked white rice for serving 

Place the beef, bell peppers and onions in crockpot.  Add the seasonings, brown sugar, and soy sauce over the beef and peppers.  Pour in the beef stock.  Stir to combine.  Cover and cook on low 5 hours or until the steak is cooked through.  1 hour before serving, mix together the corn starch and water and stir in crockpot.  Sauce will thicken during the last hour of cooking.  Serve over cooked rice.
