School Closings/Announcements

Dubuque Bellevue, closed – April 13

Platteville, River Ridge WI, Darlington, closed –  April 5

Fennimore closed –  April 3

Lancaster closed – April 6

Western Dubuque, Edgewood-Colesberg – closed TFN

University of Dubuque:  Extending Spring Break for 1 extra week

Clarke University:  Suspending classes for 2 weeks, after Spring Break (classes will be online)

Southwest Tech is closed to the public, including students.  Staff may come to campus to pick up essentials to work at home.  The emergency response team should report to work

NICC: Face to face classes all this week are canceled



Q Casino is closed (possibly 30 days)

Dubuque Fighting Saints Hockey: League has suspended the season

Air Supply at Five Flags postponed to October 9th (originally March 27th)

Best Fest is canceled. (ticket refunds can be picked only at Hospice of Dubuque)

Harlem Globetrotters Scheduled for Friday, March 20th is Postponed.

Diamond Jo Casino has postponed all live acts at the Mississippi Moon Bar through March

Five Flags: most scheduled shows have been postponed

Holy Ghost Bingo canceled for 3/17, 3/24

St. Luke’s United Methodist Church – all activities for March cancelled.  Online worship only.  Still holding Saturday night meals.

Dubuque Museum of Art closed



All sports at Clarke, Loras, UD and Wisconsin Platteville have been canceled, or indefinitely suspended

High School spring sports are suspended

NBA & NHL and MLB seasons suspended.  CDC is recommending 8 weeks

PGA canceling their next 3 events

Viking Cruises have halted all voyages

Nepal has closed Mt Everest

The 75th Anniversary Celebration of the Dubuque Soil & Water Conservation District March 26 at the District office in Epworth is cancelled.
