Buffalo Chicken Sliders

3-4 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 12 oz. bottle your favorite wing sauce (like Frank’s)

1 1 oz. pkg. dry ranch dressing mix

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 small onion, diced

Salt and pepper, to taste

24 Cremer’s Jr. buns (2 pkgs.)

2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese (cheddar or provolone, etc.)

1/3 cup prepared Ranch salad dressing

Blue cheese crumbles 

Add buffalo wing sauce, dry ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion, salt and pepper to a large slow cooker.  Mix well.  Add chicken breasts and turn to coat with sauce.  Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours, then remove chicken and shred.  Return chicken to slow cooker and heat an additional 30 minutes on low.

When ready to serve, place tops of buns on a large baking sheet, then top with some of the cheese.  Place under oven broiler until the cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes (watch it so it doesn’t burn!).  Top buns with chicken and prepared Ranch dressing or Blue cheese crumbles.  Serve.
