Brewers Take 2 1/2 Game Lead over Cubs in NL Central

UNDATED (AP) – Jesus Aguilar smacked his 20th home run and the Milwaukee Brewers earned their fifth straight win by holding off the Atlanta Braves, 5-4. Tyler Saladino slammed a two-run shot while Milwaukee was taking a 5-1 lead. Rookie Freddy Peralta allowed just one run over six innings to help the Brewers forge a 2  1/2-game lead over the second-place Cubs in the NL Central. The Reds beat the Cubs for the fifth straight time as Tyler Mahle held Chicago to one run and five hits over seven innings of a 3-2 victory at Wrigley Field.
