TRACK AND FIELD

  • (boys) Western Dubuque won the team championship last night at the MVC Mississippi Divisional at Cedar Falls. The Bobcats totaled 165. Senior finished 7th with 45. Coach of the year Tom Jasper and Athlete of the meet Zack Butcher.
  • (boys) Hempstead was 4th with 91, Wahlert 5th with with 89 at the MVC Valley Divisional last night at C.R. Prairie. Kennedy with 139 was the winner.
  • (girls) Wahlert was 2nd with 115 and Hempstead placed 6th with 82 in the team race at the MVC Valley Divisional girls meet at the Rock Bowl. Linn-Mar won the team title with 165.
  • (girls) Senior was 4th with 85.50 and Western Dubuque 5th with 71.50 at the MVC Mississippi Divisional at Iowa City High. Cedar Falls won the title with 193.50.
  • (girls) Galena/River Ridge/East Dubuque won the NUIC Meet last night with 153, in front of Milledgeville/Eastland with 124.

GOLF

  • (girls) Hempstead Won a Golf triangular at Cedar Rapids Prairie with a team score of 168 winning by 4 strokes. Morgan Hawkins medalists with a 38.

TENNIS

  • (boys) Wahlert 8, Senior 1

 

COLLEGE

BASEBALL

  • At the Heart of American Conference Tournament in Ozark, MO, #3 seed Clarke defeated #6 seed Peru State 6-1. The Pride will meet #2 seed Central Methodist this evening at 8:30 pm

SOFTBALL

  • American Rivers Conference Tournament opens up today in Pella. Dubuque the #5 seed will meet #4 seed Luther at 2:00 pm.

TENNIS

  • American Rivers Conference Men’s Tennis Tournament hosted by Coe starts today. Loras #5 seed will meet #4 seed Wartburg in Iowa City with the winner to meet the top seed Coe tomorrow.
