Another Counterfeit Bill Arrest

Dubuque Police investigating counterfeit money being passed around the city have arrested a second suspect. 55-year-old Kevin Reynolds was taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon and has been charged with Forgery. According to police, Reynolds was with a woman who tried to pass a fake 100 dollar bill at a local fast food restaurant last week. That woman, 37-year-old Amanda Jones, is also facing a Forgery charge. She reportedly told police that Reynolds gave her the phony bill and asked her to try to break it into smaller, legitimate bills. If convicted on the Forgery charge, Reynolds could face up to five years in prison.
