New York Strip Loin Roast 

6-7 lb. New York Strip Loin Roast

Cremer’s Rub Me Tender dry rub (or your favorite seasonings)

Worcestershire sauce


Remove roast from refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking.

Preheat oven to 450-degrees F.  

Sprinkle roast with Worcestershire sauce, then rub with Cremer’s Rub Me Tender dry rub, flip over roast and repeat.  (You can do this step the night before and refrigerate overnight).  Place roast, fat side up on a roasting rack in a large roasting pan, uncovered.  Place roast in oven and cook for 15 minutes, then turn heat down to 350-degrees and continue to cook for 15 minutes per pound, to reach a temperature of 130-degrees F (medium-rare, 135-140 for medium), (a 6 pound roast would take about 1 ½ hours).  Remove roast from oven and let rest 10-15 minutes.  Slice and serve.
