Riverview Center Hires Non-Profit Veteran Taylor as Executive Director


A Dubuque agency that assists victims of sexual and domestic violence has a new leader. The Riverview Center has announced that Joey Taylor has been hired as its new Executive Director. Taylor comes to the Riverview Center from Hospice of Dubuque, where she had managed development and public relations for the organization. In all, Taylor has more than 15 years of experience with various non-profit organizations in the Dubuque area. She’s also worked as the local United Way chapter’s president and CEO, and spent time managing community relations for the Dubuque Racing Association. Taylor takes over the Riverview Center’s Executive Director role from Carrie Melton. She recently became the Executive Director of the April House children’s advocacy center, based in Morrison, Illinois.
