No Injuries Reported In Dubuque House Fire

No injuries were reported in a house fire in Dubuque early this morning. Crews responded to a report of a fire at a home in the 28-hundred block of Pinard Street a few minutes after 6:20 a.m. When firefighters arrived on scene there was fire and heavy smoke coming from the rear of the building. Crews were able to put out the fire in about 20 minutes, but remained on scene for a while to extinguish some hot spots. No one was inside the house at the time of the fire. No damage estimate is available at this time, but there is extensive damage on the first floor and smoke damage throughout the structure. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
