Juveniles Injured in Chain-Reaction Crash Near Dyersville

A three-vehicle crash in Dyersville sent passengers to the hospital and caused an estimated $13,000 in damage yesterday afternoon. According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on Olde Hawkeye Road when 45-year-old Lisa Clemen of Dyersville failed to see traffic had stopped in front of her. Her vehicle rear-ended a car driven by 20-year-old Macey Morrow of Dyersville. That forced Morrow’s vehicle into the car driven by 33-year-old Jill Riniker of Farley. Riniker had stopped on Old Hawkeye Road so she could turn onto Prier Road. Some juvenile passengers in Riniker’s car were taken to Finley Hospital for head and neck pain. A juvenile in Clemen’s vehicle was taken to Mercy Hospital in Dyersville for airbag deployment related injuries.
