Jesse’s Triple Pork Chili

chili1Ingredients

– ½ lb ground beef

– ½ lb ground pork

– 1 lb Andouille sausage, cut into 1/4 inch pieces

– 1 lb pounds thick cut bacon

– 1 red bell pepper, diced

– ½ medium onion, diced

– 8 oz can tomato sauce

– 15 oz can of chili beans

– 15 oz can of diced tomatoes (with or without green chilies)

– 12 oz bottle of dark beer

– 1 tbsp cumin

– 2 tbsp chili powder

– 1 clove minced garlic

– 3-4 dashes of hot sauce

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– Fry bacon and slice into ¼ inch by ¼ inch chunks

– Brown ground beef and pork

– Add ingredients to slow cooker, beginning with meats, then veggies, then spices, and finally canned/bottled items

– Cook on low for at least 6-8 hours

Nothing but Meat & Sauce……

RECIPE BASE

2 LBS Ground Beef

1 LB Sausage

1 can Beef Broth

1 can Chicken Broth

2 can Spicy V8

1 can Tomato Sauce

1 small can tomato paste

Brown meat, drain off grease, add 1 can beef broth and 1 can of chicken broth, 2 can spicy V8, 1 can of tomato sauce and a small can of tomato paste. Bring up to a boil and then reduce heat to a slow simmer for 40 min. Add 1st Dump and simmer for 40 min. then add 2nd Dump cook on low heat for 25 min. Taste, you may have to add salt and if it’s too hot, add brown sugar if needed.

1 TBS Onion Granules
1 TBS Garlic Granules
1 TBS Beef Granules
1 TBS Chicken Granules
4 TBS Dark Chili Power
1 tsp Salt
2 Dashes Tabasco

2nd Dump
1 tsp Garlic Granules
1 TBS Cumin

1 TBS Ground Chipotle Pepper Powder
2 TBS Smoked Paprika
2 Dashes Tabasco

Brown Sugar, Lea & Perrins, Liquid Smoke can be added to one’s specific taste
