Yesterday’s thunderstorms included several funnel clouds that appeared over southwestern Wisconsin, though none of them appear to have done much damage. According to local emergency management officials, one of the funnel clouds descended between Dickeyville and Platteville a few minutes after noon. It touched down briefly just across the Lafayette County line, where it damaged some trees and crops. No structural damage has been reported so far. In addition to that twister, the National Weather Service says another tornado touched down south of Blanchardville a few minutes before 3:00.
