French Toast Breakfast Lasagna

12 pieces of French toast
12 eggs, scrambled and slightly undercooked
¼ cup maple syrup (plus more for serving)
3 cups diced ham
3 cups cheddar cheese
3 cups shredded hash browns
Butter (divided, use 2 tablespoon for greasing dish, melt the rest)
Salt & pepper

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with butter. Place 6 slices French toast on bottom of pan. Drizzle with a little maple syrup. Top with a layer of scrambled eggs, topped with diced ham, some of the hashbrowns, and then some of the cheddar cheese. Repeat layer. Now top with more shredded hash browns. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle well with melted butter. Top with another layer of cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes. Broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is slightly browned. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes. Cut and drizzle with more maple syrup. Serve and enjoy!
