Country Style Slow Cooker BBQ RIbs

7-9 lbs. Cremer’s Country style ribs (16-18 ribs)
1 large onion, sliced
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup apple cider
2 cups Cremer’s BBQ sauce (or your favorite)

Spray a 5 to 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Add sliced onions to slow cooker. Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place on top of onions. Sprinkle with minced garlic, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, apple cider and 1 cup BBQ sauce. Toss to coat. Place lid on slow cooker and cook on low 6-7 hours. Remove lid and add the remaining 1 cup barbeque sauce to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for another 1 hour. Remove and serve.
