Garlic Pasta with Grilled Chicken and Broccoli (7/11/2014)

 


Rob's Garlic Pasta with Grilled Chicken and Broccoli


 


1-16 oz. box Pasta, Penne, Canncooked according to packages direction


3 Boneless, skinless Chicken breasts, grilled and cut to ½" x 2" lengths


1 large bag frozen Broccoli florets, boiled or steamed until cooked but firm


3 Tablespoons Olive Oil


4 tablespoons butter


2 teaspoons minced garlic


Sea Salt (to taste)


Fresh Ground Black pepper (to taste)


Grated Parmesan Cheese


 


Heat stove to medium and coat bottom of a large sauté pan or skillet with olive oil. Add butter and minced garlic.   Saute until garlic is fragrant.  Be careful not to over cook, or you will burn the butter and garlic. 


 


Add cooked pasta, chicken strips, and broccoli.  Toss together to coat. 


 


Remove and add to a plate and top with black pepper, sea salt and grated Parmesan cheese.   


 


(I marinated chicken breasts in some olive oil, salt, pepper, minced garlic and  Italian seasoning then grilled them).
