Reuben Pizza (3/14/2014)


1 pre-made pizza crust, baked ¾ way through suggested baking time
1 teaspoons caraway seed
½ cup Thousand Island or Russian Dressing
½ lb. Corned beef, diced or thinly sliced
1 ½ cups sauerkraut, drained, dry
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

Drain sauerkraut in colander. Pat dry between paper towels.

Place pre-made pizza crust on pizza pan and bake at recommended temperature ¾ of the suggested baking time. Remove from oven.

While the crust bakes, dice or slice your corned beef.

Shred the Swiss cheese, and set aside.

Spread ¼ cup thousand island dressing over the top of the partially baked crust. Layer on the corned beef. Spread sauerkraut over corned beef. Cover with shredded Swiss cheese. Drizzle with remaining ¼ cup thousand island dressing. Sprinkle with some caraway seed.

Return pizza to oven and bake an additional 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to rest a few minutes before cutting.
