Mushrooom and Swiss Burgers (5/18/2012)

Mushroom and Swiss Burgers


3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
3 lb. Cremer's Ground Beef (formed into 8 patties)
2 cans Campbell's Golden Mushroom Soup
1 soup can water
1 large pkg. sliced Mushrooms (saute'd)
3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
9 slices Swiss Cheese
1 ½ teaspoons Accent Seasoning
1 ½ teaspoons Lawry's Seasoning salt
3/4 teaspoon ground pepper
8 Hamburger buns


Saute mushrooms 8-10 minutes in a large skillet over medium heat in 3 tablespoons melted butter, or margarine.


Combine golden mushroom soup, water, mushroom, and Worcestershire sauce in a pan. Put on stove over medium-high heat and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10-15 minutes.


After you've made your ground beef patties, press lightly in the middle you're your thumb to leave a well. This will help the burger come out nice and flat and won't ball up.


Mix together in a small bowl the Accent Seasoning, Lawry's seasoning and ground pepper. Season ground beef patties on both sides with the mixture. Grill over medium heat 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from grill and let rest 5 minutes.


Place patties on a bun, top with a slice of Swiss cheese and then top with mushroom mixture. Serve.
