Cheesy Ham & Hash Brown Casserole


1 (32 oz. pkg) frozen southern style hash browns, thawed
1/4 Cup melted butter or margarine
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 Cups cooked diced or chopped ham
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
1/2 Cup chopped onions
2 Cups shredded Chedder Cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 Cups crushed cornflakes cereal
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine


1. Preheat oven to 350-degrees
2. In a large bowl, combine hash browns, 1/4 cup melted
butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped
onion, chedder cheese, salt and pepper. Spray a 3 quart
casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Place
mixture in casserole. Level out.
3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, sautee
cornflakes in 1/4 cup melted butter, and sprinkle the
mixture over the top of the casserole.
4. Bake covered in preheated over for 50-60 minutes or until
hot and bubbly. (cooking times may vary)
