Microwave Ravioli Casserole


1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup) or 1 tsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp. minced garlic or 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp. black Pepper
1/2 package frozen cheese filled Ravioli (thawed)
1 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese


1. Crumble beef into 2-quart microwavable casserole. Add onion or onion powder, garlic or garlic powder and pepper. Stir. Cover loosley and microwave on high 5 to 6 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes, until beef is no longer pink. Drain.

2. Stir in thawed Ravioli (about 12-14 of them). Cover tightly and microwave on high 5 to 7 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes, until hot. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and let stand until cheese is melted. Serve.

(I thawed out my ravioli by placing them in a ziplock bag and putting them in a sink of cold water for several minutes).

Garlic bread and a side salad make this a very tasty meal.
